How do we point Scout at our thesis?
You write a Discovery Brief: one versioned YAML object carrying your thesis, target verticals, source weights, and promotion bar. Scout lints it before it ships, rotates briefs on the scheduled loop, and every filed idea records which brief steered it. No agent or workflow code changes.
Do I need the Suite?
If you already have an evaluation gate, buy Scout alone. If you need FUND to a live URL, take Portfolio Suite.
Does Scout replace my CRM?
No. Scout is intake for product ideas into an evaluation pipeline, not a sales CRM.
Where does the market-signal data come from?
Licensed sources, not scraping. Crowding and demand checks run through a licensed third-party provider, and sources with real ToS risk (Reddit, review-site scraping) stay off by default — opt-in only, never assumed.
